Shuk Weng
Vice President

Shuk Weng's love affair with cats started more than 25 years ago when she was still an undergraduate. At that time, she was involved with feeding the community cats in her neighbourhood, and bringing them for sterilisation where possible and to the vets’ when necessary.

However, over the years, with work demands and family commitments, her involvement with community cats became much reduced.

Three years ago, Shuk Weng made the decision to step back from the legal profession and move her focus back to her first love - working with the cat community. It was at around that time that she met Michelle, and together they decided to set up Singapore’s first fear-free cat boarding, thereby bringing into fruition her childhood dream. It was a long but fulfilling journey setting up Catnap Feline Suites, and she has not looked back since.

Shuk Weng is currently the Director of Catnap Feline Suites.

Secretary

Afiq, the owner of Purrfect Meows, Feeqqoo Maine Coon, and BearCha, is deeply knowledgeable about the Maine Coon breed. His primary focus has always been on Maine Coon health and genetics, driving his specialization in this magnificent breed. In both Cat Fancier Association (CFA) & The International Cat Association (TICA). His unwavering goal is to consistently breed Maine Coon cats that not only meet but exceed their breed standards.

In addition to his dedication to Maine Coons, Afiq collaborates closely with esteemed breeders worldwide, leveraging their extensive experience and achievements. Beyond Maine Coons, he also possesses hands-on experience handling and exhibiting a variety of other cat breeds, including Ragdolls, British Shorthairs, Persians, Siberians, American Shorthairs, and Cornish Rex.

Afiq's expertise extends beyond breeding and showing—he is recognized as an international Specialty Judge under the Universal Cat Association (UCA) and serves as an International Fun Show judge. With over a decade of experience, his profound knowledge and contributions make him a highly valued asset within The Feline Association Singapore (TFAS).
